Rationale
Programming languages today are often treated as products. They accumulate features endlessly, break existing code for marginal gains, and introduce churn simply to justify ongoing development. QuickScript rejects this model, aiming to remain a simple tool, like a reliable hammer that needs no further evolution once proven effective.
With the release of version 1.0, QuickScript will be declared feature-complete. Its syntax and semantics will be frozen, and no new features or fashionable paradigms will be retrofitted into the language.
Post-1.0 development will focus on the compiler, tooling, performance, documentation, and libraries, strengthening the ecosystem without altering the language itself.
